Dr. Nilesh Patel grew up in Dallas, OR. He graduated with a degree in Chemistry from Oregon State University. Dr. Patel went on to pursue his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Barry University in Miami, FL
After Dr. Patel graduated from Barry University, he completed a 3- year residency at St. Vincent Hospital and UMASS University of Massachusetts in Worcester, MA. Dr. Patel’s training was specialized in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery and was trained by some of the best foot and ankle trauma surgeons in Massachusetts.
Dr. Patel strives for perfection in his profession and has acquired a unique set of clinical and surgical skills which he provides to his patients every day. He believes that the doctor-patient relationship is a partnership and that listening and education are critical components in treating his patients. He strives to provide his patients with honest and compassionate care. Dr. Patel’s goal for his patients is to get them back to doing what they love as soon as possible without pain and long-term success.
Dr. Patel partnered with Dr. Randy Lisch’s Happy Feet office (now Austin Foot & Ankle Center) in early 2015. Dr. Randy Lisch and Dr. Patel have grown to trust each other’s great work. Dr. Randy Lisch had no hesitation that Dr. Patel would continue with the high level of quality care that Happy Feet has been trusted to provide over the last 30 years. Dr. Patel is also board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his daughter, wife, friends, and family, traveling, camping, fishing, snowboarding, cars, golf, and basketball.
